We are so sorry for your loss. We created luminaries for each child and adult lost. We hope it helps to know others are trying to send warm, loving condolences. We have both experienced loss, but none so heart breaking as the loss of a child. So very sorry.

Our hearts have broken for you all. My middle school students have been brainstorming ways to communicate how much we care and to try to shine a little bit of light back into your lives. One 8th grade boy suggested we wear your school colors of green and white and take a photo spelling out our message of love to you. And that is what we present here.

My heart is just broken. I know the little ones are safe with God now. My mom is a teacher and when we heard about the devastating news she shed many tears. She sees little children everyday in her class and this tragedy was something that she could not comprehend. There is nothing that i could say to fill that void in the families hearts. I am so deeply affected by this awful awful situation. Your children are incredibly important – and deserved all the experiences of life…. to develop as kids, teens, adults, leaders, mentors, friends, soul-mates… how full of beauty they are… I love them as I love my own children, and I have felt the loss so deeply, but cannot imagine how bleak and awful life must feel. The siblings, your other children, may offer you some light, some reason to carry on… may strength and consolation be with you…. Love of all creation be with you.
I have avoided the news because every time I see those beautiful faces, my heart breaks, and I cannot help but imagine how I would feel if one of my two sons pictures were up there.
We are praying for you. We are loving you. We are hurting for you.
It’s so hard to compose an appropriate thought for the children and staff who have lost their lives in this tragedy. I have been distracted by this event everyday since it happened. I am overwhelmed with grief for your families and the survivors who witnessed this traumatic event, and saying I’m sorry for your loss doesn’t seem sufficient. My children and I want you to know that this will never be forgotten. The precious lives that were lost will never be forgotten, and we are deeply sorry for your loss.

Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am by this tragedy. Children should never precede their parents in death. It is an unthinkable thing for which there is no satisfying answer to the question everyone is asking, why? Your hearts are broken. Our hearts our broken for you. I pray you find some comfort knowing your precious child is now in a place that has no pain, no sorrow, and no tears. They will only know joy from this moment on till eternity. I want you to know that I am committed to praying for you all this week, next week, and every time I look into my sweet nephews eyes knowing that I am so blessed to be able to watch them grow up. Just know that you are not a news story everyone will forget about tomorrow. I will not forget you. And more importantly, God will not forget you.

I am a parent and my eyes fill up every time I imagine what you are going through. I am so so sorry for your loss. The memory of the lost lives and this tragedy will remain forever etched in our conscience. I hope you find strength in their memories and in knowing that we all grieve with you.
I will be writing to my senator, to the congress and to whoever I can think of to let them know that we want to see some strong action to ensure that such tragedies do not occur.

I sit here crying at the tremendous gravity of this tradegy. I have whispered to my brother to please take these little souls under his wings and be a big brother for all of them in heaven. People say that somethings fall apart so better things can come together. That is how I always believed life to be. this is the3rd time in my life that that saying didn’t make any sense. 1). 9/11 2) the Batman Movie Premier, and 3) this shooting in Connecticut. I don’t know what or why this man did such terrible thing to those innocent souls, and I don’t know why God let those things happen. But all I know and feel is that those brave teachers and principals, those beautiful and sweet children were God’s and maybe he wanted them to be with him. I don’t know. I wonder what those parents are feeling right now, there is no words to describe the things that happened. I just send my love here in California to all those in Connecticut. I pray and think about everyone there everyday. I am just so terribly sorry. I wish there was something I could have done. May those angels all help us and watch over us in time of need. May God bless their little and brave hearts. May their stories last on forever, be remembered forever, be loved forever. May this be the last time something like this could ever happen. The sky is crying, and the flags are at half-mast. It is a sad, sad day. But it is also your day, Noah, my little man. I will miss your forceful and purposeful little steps stomping through our house. I will miss your perpetual smile, the twinkle in your dark blue eyes, framed by eyelashes that would be the envy of any lady in this room.
Most of all, I will miss your visions of your future. You wanted to be a doctor, a soldier, a taco factory manager. It was your favorite food, and no doubt you wanted to ensure that the world kept producing tacos.
You were a little boy whose life force had all the gravitational pull of a celestial body. You were light and love, mischief and pranks. You adored your family with every fiber of your 6-year-old being. We are all of us elevated in our humanity by having known you. A little maverick, who didn’t always want to do his schoolwork or clean up his toys, when practicing his ninja moves or Super Mario on the Wii seemed far more important.
Noah, you will not pass through this way again. I can only believe that you were planted on Earth to bloom in heaven. Take flight, my boy. Soar. You now have the wings you always wanted. Go to that peaceful valley that we will all one day come to know. I will join you someday. Not today. I still have lots of mommy love to give to Danielle, Michael, Sophia and Arielle.

I am heartbroken as a human being, an American and a human being. My son died in his sleep a couple of days before his senior year classes started. It has been a couple of years and my heart still aches. May GOD give the families and friends of those who lost their lives as well as those who witnessed the massacre. Although, I have no answers I do have one solid belief. That the day your children were taken beside them was a angel, and that angel picked them up and took them to the Jesus and he welcomed them home. I believe they are now your angels that will watch over you until you are reunited in heaven. I hope these words will give you a small amount of solace.

I am not surprised that this is a reality now, although in some cases I think that there are additional ways of doing it. I have attempted numerous procedures up previously, and none of them has actually worked very well. I will attempt this method next.

My heart is just broken. I know the little ones are safe with God now. My mom is a teacher and when we heard about the devastating news she shed many tears. She sees little children everyday in her class and this tragedy was something that she could not comprehend. There is nothing that i could say to fill that void in the families hearts. I have avoided the news because every time I see those beautiful faces, my heart breaks, and I cannot help but imagine how I would feel if one of my two sons pictures were up there.

Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am by this tragedy. Children should never precede their parents in death. It is an unthinkable thing for which there is no satisfying answer to the question everyone is asking, why? Your hearts are broken. Our hearts our broken for you. I pray you find some comfort knowing your precious child is now in a place that has no pain, no sorrow, and no tears. They will only know joy from this moment on till eternity. I want you to know that I am committed to praying for you all this week, next week, and every time I look into my sweet nephews eyes knowing that I am so blessed to be able to watch them grow up. As I sit here and write this I am crying many tears just thinking of these beautiful, innocent children and those teachers and staff members that gave their life trying to protect them. I can’t even begin to imagine that you are going through and what lies ahead for this entire community but we are here for you. As many others have said, you are not alone.
I sit here crying at the tremendous gravity of this tradegy. I have whispered to my brother to please take these little souls under his wings and be a big brother for all of them in heaven. People say that somethings fall apart so better things can come together. That is how I always believed life to be. this is the3rd time in my life that that saying didn’t make any sense. 1). 9/11 2) the Batman Movie Premier, and 3) this shooting in Connecticut. I don’t know what or why this man did such terrible thing to those innocent souls, and I don’t know why God let those things happen. But all I know and feel is that those brave teachers and principals, those beautiful and sweet children were God’s and maybe he wanted them to be with him. I don’t know. The sky is crying, and the flags are at half-mast. It is a sad, sad day. But it is also your day, Noah, my little man. I will miss your forceful and purposeful little steps stomping through our house. I will miss your perpetual smile, the twinkle in your dark blue eyes, framed by eyelashes that would be the envy of any lady in this room.
Most of all, I will miss your visions of your future. You wanted to be a doctor, a soldier, a taco factory manager. It was your favorite food, and no doubt you wanted to ensure that the world kept producing tacos.
You were a little boy whose life force had all the gravitational pull of a celestial body. You were light and love, mischief and pranks. You adored your family with every fiber of your 6-year-old being. We are all of us elevated in our humanity by having known you. A little maverick, who didn’t always want to do his schoolwork or clean up his toys, when practicing his ninja moves or Super Mario on the Wii seemed far more important.
Noah, you will not pass through this way again. I can only believe that you were planted on Earth to bloom in heaven. Take flight, my boy. Soar. You now have the wings you always wanted. I am heartbroken as a human being, an American and a human being. My son died in his sleep a couple of days before his senior year classes started. It has been a couple of years and my heart still aches. May GOD give the families and friends of those who lost their lives as well as those who witnessed the massacre.
